Joe Urban is a highly qualified, Factory Certified Harp Technician and a member of the prestigious Lyon & Healy / Salvi Technicians Guild. With over 20 years of factory experience and 18 years as an independent specialist, Joe is recognized as one of the leading professionals in the global harp community.
A Legacy of Craftsmanship
Joe’s deep expertise is rooted in his tenure with the world’s most renowned harp manufacturers:
• Venus Harps (1987–1999): Gaining mastery in building and assembly.
• Lyon & Healy Harps (1999–2007): Specializing in precision regulation and master craftsmanship.
While at Lyon & Healy, Joe was entrusted with Apprentice Training, mentoring many of the skilled technicians who serve the harp community today. In 2007, Joe transitioned to independent service, bringing his "factory-direct" standards to clients across the United States from his home base in Chicagoland.
